Michael I. Ramirez San Antonio, Texas
Michael Ramirez was born in McAllen, Texas in July in 1968. He was raised in San Antonio and attended both college and law school there. He joined the firm as an associate in 1999, the same year he graduated from law school. He became a shareholder in 2007. Michael previously served in the United States Marine Corps for eight (8) years and was part of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. While in the Marines, his tours of duty took him to California, Hawaii, Egypt, Kuwait, and Iraq. Mike is a true outdoorsman, who enjoys fishing the bays of Texas and hunting whitetail deer. He has also bowhunted blacktail deer in California, elk in New Mexico, and black bear in Canada. He played semi-professional football for three (3) seasons and has participated in approximately twenty (20) triathlons. He is an avid road cyclist who logs in excess of 5000 miles annually. He has participated in numerous events, including the MS 150, the Tour de Cure, the Fiesta Wild Flower, the Katy Flatlands Century, and the Hotter Than Hell 100 (a single day 100 mile ride in 100 degree weather). Michael has been married for 11 years to his wife, Kellie, and they have two children, Cody (age 16) and Caroleena (age 9).
